Excellence in Knowledge, Expression, & Community

Why Monarch?

Experience The Monarch Difference!

Monarch Classical School of the Arts is committed to educating the whole child and supporting all members of our team. Our goal is to build a school that produces well-rounded students prepared to meet the social and academic challenges of the world around them. We envision a learning environment that develops the whole child by engaging all of the senses and ignites curiosity for life-long learning. Monarch focuses on ALL classical areas of education, while embedding language, visual, and musical arts throughout every learning day. Our founders believe this proven method of education lays a solid foundation for future success.

The Monarch Philosophy

Monarch Classical School of the Arts will be a classroom-based learning environment whose curriculum aligns with and exceeds both Common Core and Colorado Academic Standards, providing 21st century skills in our global economy. Our school leaders, highly qualified teachers, and school board will work from six core principles to ensure a high-quality learning environment:

Classical approach to instruction supported by Core Knowledge curriculum

Data-driven, differentiated lessons based on student learning goals

High-quality teachers through continuous professional development

Academic and artistic instruction every day to support whole child development

Language and mathematic excellence through extended instruction blocks

Parent and community involvement by weekly updates on student progress and school goals and initiatives

Individualized Learning Goals & Plans

Each child will receive Individualized Learning Plan (ILPs) based on their unique giftedness, interests, and struggles. ILPs will track academic, social/emotional, creative, and personal goals (collectively created by the teacher, administrator, parent, and student.) ILP progress will be updated weekly and sent home for parents to review.
